For us, construction isn’t just about getting jobs done — it’s about showing up for the communities we’re part of. At Renomads, we believe in giving our time and skills where they matter most, supporting local spaces, and helping people when we can. These efforts reflect who we are and the values we bring to every project.

Tater’s Bridge: A Community Project by Renomads - 2024

When access to part of Christiansen Forest Preserve near Huxley was cut off by a blown-out bridge, we saw an opportunity to give back to a place that means a great deal to us. Renomads was proud to design and install a new bridge, restoring access to the trail and helping reconnect the community with this local “hidden gem.”

This project was completed entirely as a philanthropic effort. Last fall, ten members of the Renomads team volunteered more than 65 hours to build and install the bridge. What began as a way to support the park took on deeper meaning when the bridge became a tribute to Tater, a beloved hiking companion whose last walk was at the preserve.

At Renomads, we believe construction can do more than build structures—it can strengthen communities. Tater’s Bridge reflects our commitment to using our skills, time, and resources to make a positive impact beyond our job sites. We are honored to support Christiansen Forest Preserve and the people who enjoy it, and we look forward to continuing projects that give back to the communities we serve.

Exterior Makeover for Yankee Clipper - 2023

Although the Yankee Clipper makeover was a for-profit project, Renomads was especially proud to contribute to preserving the building’s historical character in Uptown Ankeny. Our team made it a priority to protect and highlight key historical elements that reflect the site’s legacy and significance within the community.

In addition to preserving the original historical features and signage, Renomads designed and provided a commemorative plaque at no cost to formally recognize the building’s history and ensure those stories remain accessible to the public. This work was completed as a contribution to the community, reinforcing our commitment to honoring local history while supporting the businesses and spaces that give neighborhoods their identity.

Lending a Hand for a Family in Nicaragua - 2022

When we learned about a family near Granada in need of support, Renomads stepped in to help improve their home. Our team volunteered to pack and level a dirt
floor, creating a safer and more comfortable space for daily living.

Projects like this allow us to use our construction expertise in meaningful ways beyond our usual job sites. By contributing time and labor, we help families
improve their living conditions while fostering connections and making a tangible impact in communities around the world.
